Integra Masonry

More than a home - peace of mind.
Your new house may be the most important investment you'll ever make.  Of course, you need a safe and solid shelter that will protect you and your family against the forces of nature.  But you also want property that will increase in value over time, something inexpensive to maintain and comfortable to live in.  And your new home must not only be valuable to you, it must retain its appeal when you're ready for resale.  Choosing a home built with the Integra® Wall System will give you the durability and efficiency you're looking for, and all the other benefits that make it a sound investment you can truly live with for many years to come.

Your Integra home has value built right in.
The Integra Wall System uses all the same sturdy materials as block construction, but it incorporates considerable improvements that make it even safer,  more durable and energy efficient.  The result is a more solid, secure and comfortable home that costs much less to heat, cool and maintain.  And that translates to a solid investment.

Energy Efficient
Reduces heating and cooling bills as much as 22% or more.
Polyurethane insulation reduces temperature transfer, creating extremely high R-values.
Post-tensioned walls prevent flexural cracking and air leaks.
Low Maintenance
Won't peel, rot, warp or splinter like conventional construction.
Requires less painting and fewer repairs.
Saves money on long-term basis.
Termite resistant-there's nothing for bugs to eat.
Mold-, fungus-, and water-resistant.
Greater fire resistance often means lower insurance premiums.

Solid Construction
Post-tensioned steel rods reinforce the entire structure, literally from top to bottom.
Polyurethane spray-foam insulation keeps noise and weather out, heating and
air-conditioning in.
Concrete block is remarkably resistant to fire, termites, rot, mold, fungus, and severe weather.
Soundproofing that greatly reduces outside noise.
Superior strength that withstands extremes of heat and cold without buckling, cracking,   or melting.

Versatile Good Looks
Apply any surface to create the house style you want.
Works with siding, stucco, and all painted surfaces.
Integra block is also available in every masonry texture and color, including Superstone, Splitface, Slump and Founders Finish.

Thinking inside the block:
How the Integra Wall System works.
The Integra Wall System takes the best masonry building methods and materials available
and makes them even better using a unique, patented construction process:

Stronger
Integra walls are post-tensioned, which is a structural reinforcement method that uses high-strength steel rods to essentially bolt the roof straight down through the walls into the house foundation.  Post-tensioning dramatically strengthens the entire building from top to bottom and makes rock-solid block construction even sturdier that it already is.

Better Insulated
The unique shape of the Integra block allows room for sprayed-in polyurethane insulation that completely covers the interior space of the wall.  Polyurethane is a non-toxic, remarkably durable material that's very easy to work with.  It sprays in and expands up to thirty times its liquid volume, filling every void within the wall, hardening within minutes, and providing many years of protection and energy savings.

More Efficient
Any mason can build with the Integra system, and the materials are readily available, which ensures more stable pricing.  Engineers and architects like the flexibility and versatility of working with Integra block, and its fast and simple construction method is practical in a wide variety of structures and climates.

Building stronger.  Building greener.
With Integra, you can feel good knowing you're purchasing a solid home that doesn't endanger the environment.  You don't have to chop down a forest of trees to build an Integra home, and the materials are all readily available without depleting precious natural and limited resources.  And because there are no shortages, building materials are stably priced, putting less strain on the ecosystem and your budget.

Buy a house that stands up to your expectations.
Now that you understand what makes an Integra home sturdier, safer, more comfortable and cost-efficient, you can feel confident you're providing a solid house for your family, and a solid investment for your future.  This proven construction method meets or exceeds all the requirements of homeowners, and has been in production since 1984.  Tens of thousands of homes have been built with Integra.  Wouldn't it feel good to know that yours is next?

INTEGRA WALL COMPONENTS

THE INTEGRA WALL, STEP-BY-STEP.
Step 1
Integra blocks are mortared into place around high-strength steel rods, which are secured to the house foundation.
Step 2
Polyurethane insulation is installed into the wall interior, allowed to expand, harden and dry.  The excess is cut flush to the block.
Step 3
Once the walls are in place, the steel rods are tensioned to a pre-engineered force of 7400# using impact wrenches and a special Direct Tension Indicator Washer.
Step 4
The roof beams and framing are attached to the steel rods by means of a top plate and bolted tight, reinforcing structural integrity from top to bottom.
